BULGARIAN SOCIETY FOR BRITISH STUDIES BULGARIAN AMERICAN STUDIES ASSOCIATION
The present volume comprises of 30 papers delivered at the annual conference of the Bulgarian Society for British Studies (BSBS) and the Bulgarian American Studies Association (BASA). The event was organized by the Department of English at Shumen University "St. Konstantin Preslavski", Bulgaria in November 2004, and was co-sponsored by the Fulbright Commission, Sofia.
All the papers in this volume are informed, in varying degrees, by a heightened awareness of the transatlantic and the transnational and in many of the cases directly contribute to a fuller understanding of these concepts, offering useful insights into the possible directions of transatlantic relations and transnational interactions in the field of the humanities.
