The book "Media and Public Relations; Issues of Education and Practice" is a collection of presentations of 23 participants at the International conference which took place on May 17-18th, 2002 in Sofia. Included are the works of some of the leading scholars in the field - Barbara Baerns, Roland Burkart, Jaako Lehtonen, Miroljub Radojkovie, Bernd Schorb, Dejan Vereie.
The book is organized in three sections: Theoretical Perspectives, Media and Public Relations Education, and Professional Practice. Specific accent is being put on the advent of the new technologies in the processes of Globalization, Consensus Oriented Public Relations, and Crisis Public Relations.
