Ivaylo Grouev is a lecturer in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Ottawa. A specialist in nationalism and ethnic studies in Eastern Europe he has contributed to the Journal of European Security, The Journal of Slavic Military Studies, BBC, CBC (Canadian Broadcast Corporation), RFE/RL (Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty) and other journals and professional symposia He is the author of Bullets on Water, Refugees Stories, published by McGill-Queens University Press, Montreal (2000).
