Тази книга е моя мечта, желание, борба, мъка, страх и време. Ние хората от това парче земя, наречена България не сме в края на Европа, скрити някъде на края на света, а началото на една от най-старите европейски цивилизации. В нашата история има хиляди целенасочено забравени дати и събития. Но макар и доста унищожени, оцелелите документи говорят красноречиво и безпристрастно. Понякога границите на държавите се преначертават, така че не съвпадат с културните граници - етнически, религиозни и цивилизационни. Незнайно защо често ни поставят в голямата сянка на старата съвременна Европа. Тези, които го правят забравят обаче, че ние българите, обичаме нашата древна и красива земя и тази книга е опит да си спомним за светлите, непреходни и вечни ценности, една от които е да пиша с тези букви, тези редове. Редове, разораващи пепелта на забравата. Пепелта, от която възкръсваме, горди, чисти и добри. Завинаги!

This book is my dream, my wish, my struggle, suf¬fering, fear and time. We, the people from this piece of land, called Bulgaria, are not located at the far end of Europe, we are not hidden somewhere at the end of the world - one of the oldest European civilizations originates here. There are thousands of intentionally forgotten dates and events in our history. Although a great number of them have already been destroyed, the surviving documents speak of themselves without fear or favour. It sometimes happed that the borders of the countries were redrawn in such a way that they did not correspond to the particular cultural borders in terms of belonging to an ethnos, religion and civilization. God only knows why they have put us the in great shadow of the old continent nowadays. We, the Bulgarians, love our ancient and beautiful land and this book is an attempt to remember the true, eternal values and precious achievements, one of which is to be able to write these letters and lines. These lines are drawn in the dust of oblivion - the dust, we arise from, proud, pure and good.
