The philosophical poem "The Virtuoso of Life" is a revised version of the poem "The Stone" (2011 - 2012) published in Ani Vaseva and Boyan Manchev's "Meteor. Selected Texts for Theatre" (Sofia: Metheor, 2018). The first part of "The Stone", respectively "The Virtuoso of Life" (fragments 1 - 7), is related to the work on the play "Frankenstein, or the New Pandora" by Metheor theatre collective (directed by Ani Vaseva, Sfumato Theatre, 2012). The second part of the poem (fragments 8-13) was written in the summer of 2012. Canadian pianist Glenn Gould (1932 - 1982), who died ten days after his fiftieth anniversary, appears as the third fictional character, along with Pandora and Frankenstein, in the constellation of "The Virtuoso of Life".
