The current 11th volume of the series "Coin Collections and Coin Hoards from Bulgaria (CCCHBulg)" contains the second part of the numismatic collection of the Regional History Museum - Blagoevgrad (RHM - Blagoevgrad). The Blagoevgrad region has been already exhaustively represented in the previous volumes 4 and 6, published in 2014 and 2016. They contain a detailed geographical and historical description of the territory of the middle flows of the Struma (ancient Strymon) and the Mesta (ancient Nestos) Rivers. There is also a summarized information on the coin circulation from the end of the 6th ВС until the 5th century AD. The volumes contain also all known until that moment coin collections from Southwest Bulgaria.
The numismatic richness kept in the funds of the Regional History Museum - Blagoevgrad include the entire variety of coinages that circulated in the Southwestern Thracian lands from the Antiquity until the present day.
